“How To Crank Out Million Dollar Product Ideas From Scratch”

Are you currently stuck trying to think up ideas for that million dollar product?

I’ve got a surefire formula to get you unstuck and on the road to generating more profitable product ideas than you can handle.

First, let’s talk about the real reason people hit a blank wall when they start brainstorming. The sad fact is that our brains are a bit lazy. The human mind hates sustained concentration and always seeks the shortest, quickest and easiest path to solving any problem.

When you sit down with pen and paper in hand and ask yourself, “What product do I want to create?”, you’ve just given your brain an overwhelmingly open-ended question…

The problem is that the term ’product” is far too abstract. It includes literally thousands of possibilities. Your mind gets overwhelmed and doesn’t know where to begin. Think of your mind as a young child on a playground. You want to give him a clear set of boundaries. He can play freely and safely as long as he knows your parameters – but set him loose with the command to “do anything”, and he’s likely to run out of your control.

Fortunately, there’s a formula you can use to take control of the brainstorming process… This formula gives your mind something it absolutely loves: order and categorization.

When you use this formula, ideas will come to you automatically. The reason is that you are giving your mind a logical map to branch out from, rather than asking it to start in the middle of nowhere.

Are you ready to learn the formula for churning out million dollar product ideas at will? Here it is:

==> Consumer Class + Product Purpose = Winning Idea!

Each of the above variable represents a set of questions you must answer. Your answers do not lock you into anything. Instead, they create a series of sub categories to guide you in your brainstorming sessions. These sub categories enable you to open up new tightly defined niches the farther you go.

(1) Let’s start with the “Consumer Class” variable...

Who is your consumer? Is he/she:

- An individual?
- A small business?
- A large business?
- An end user at home or at work?
- A single product consumer?
- A bulk product consumer?

Also ask the question of what your consumer is interested in, and which market niche he/she belongs to.

(2) Now, let’s look at the “Product Purpose” variable...

What is the purpose of this product? Is it:

- Pure information and education?
- Aimed at solving a problem quickly and efficiently?
- Designed for entertainment?
- Factual or fictional?
- Text only or will it include software, audio or video?
- Complete as is or will it require updates?
- Suitable for download or better off rolled into a membership site?

You can even add additional variables to plug into the formula if you want.

Notice how each variable opens up further room for categorization? Let’s say that you chose “a single product consumer” for your consumer class variable, and “fiction” for your product purpose variable. What you really have is a fictional entertainment product. At this point, you have a new map to branch off from.

What comes to mind when you think of a single product consumer? E-books come to mind. Maybe the product should be a work of fiction in e-book format? This sounds good, so now all you have to do is figure out what types of fiction people are actually searching for online…

The next step is to go to overture.com and type in some keywords. In this case, I tried out “e-book”, “fiction” and “stories”. It appears that Harry Potter e-books are popular, but you risk copyright infringement on that topic. The number one niche for “fiction” happens to be “fan fiction”. Fan fiction usually involves new story lines (often of an explicit sexual nature) between popular science fiction characters. We’ll pass on that one as well.

However, the keyword “stories” pulls up something interesting: ghost stories! Here’s an area where you could collect a lot of content from the public domain (For tips and secrets on using public domain for profit, you can find excellent information in “Public Domain Riches” at http://tinyurl.com/5xkwn).

You could also hire a professional fiction writer from Elance.com and have him or her put together some ghost stories or old wives’ tales for you…and voila! Instant niche product.

You can come up with other fun ideas within this one niche by continuing to play with the variables. For example, if you repackage the product purpose in the audio-visual category, you might come up with other ideas like:

- A CD or downloadable set of mp3’s containing “spooky sounds”
- A set of graphics or screensavers for Halloween
- Some novelty software like a virtual ouija board or ghost-hunting game

Now, wasn’t that easy? Four new ideas generated almost instantly and you didn’t even have to break a sweat...just fill in the blanks of this formula and the product ideas pop out like magic!

A powerful way to reap huge profits here is to act on the right ideas fast. Turn million dollar ideas into million dollar products.

"Ten Killer Copywriting Mistakes That Suck Money Out Of Your Sites!"

Are you sick, tired and downright angry at the lousy profits you’re making online from your websites?

Listen, if you’re in need of quick and easy ways to blast your sales sky high, then this may be the most important article you'll ever read…

Fact is, the absence of powerful cash-churning copy is the single most critical attribute to poor sales. It is the master culprit that is leaking profits from your sites faster than an uncontrollable dam bursting at the seams…

…meaning, you need to fix these leaks immediately!

I’ve narrowed down 10 common copywriting mistakes to avoid like the plague, mistakes sucking money out of your websites right now. So my advise is to fix them before they fix you…

Mistake #1: Not Talking To Your Market

Customers want to know one thing - what they can get from buying and using your products. The “what’s in it for me?” mentality rules.

In all seriousness, they don’t give a hoot about you nor your products, only the benefits they will receive. So use more ‘you’ to address your prospects directly in your copy while reducing ‘I’ words…you’re selling to your market, not to yourself here.

Similarly, research your target market to understand it’s buying psychology, what you want to find are the hot buttons that make them pull out their credit cards fast.

Mistake #2: Not Grabbing Immediate Attention

I still see direct response websites without an obvious opening headline that hits home fast. Big big mistake. You’ve just a few crucial seconds to grab attention and interest in what you offer, so make use of this opportunity to qualify and capture your prospects immediately.

State your ultimate benefits in the headline upfront, and make it short, sweet and direct. Ted Nicholas once said that a headline should contain only 17 words or less before it becomes ineffective.

Mistake #3: Missing Sub-Headlines

Use sub-headlines liberally, it’s a very powerful method for adding more fire into your sales copy. At the same time, it breaks down long sales letters for easier reading and strengthens benefits.

Sub-headlines can be applied after every 3-4 paragraphs as a tool to reinforce major points and to summarize your ideas.

Mistake #4: Draggy Sentence And Paragraph Formats

It’s advisable to write in shorter sentences and to divide copy into many different paragraphs.

As a guideline a paragraph should have only 4-5 sentences focusing on one central point. This enhances absorption rate and similarly enables easier reading and understanding.

Mistake #5: Not Having Enough Testimonials

Testimonials are proven selling tools so have more of them in support of your products. Psychologically people will be influenced positively if others, especially recognized experts in your market, endorse your products openly. This is known commonly as the "Law Of Association".

The trick is to use testimonials as another vehicle to support your major benefits. To do that testimonials should be descriptive, detailed and facts-oriented.

Mistake #6: Not Firing Your Bullets

Do use lots of bullets in your copy, and then use some more. Bullets are excellent sales converters which can often decide if you make or break the sale. People read bullets like crazy, so list down your most powerful and detailed benefit statements in them for maximum impact to your bottomline.

Mistake #7: Using Negative Words

Reduce usage of words with negative emotions as much as possible. Turn negative adjectives into positive experiences. For example don’t say 'complicated' and 'wrong', say 'easy' and 'sure-fire'.

While Gary Halbert mentioned how certain negative adjectives in your headline can produce great results, the focus should be only in using them to create outrageous or shocking statements to incite interest, curiosity, anger or fear.

An example would be something like :"Do You Make These *Fatal Mistakes* In Your Marketing?"

Mistake #8: Lack Of Irresistible Offers

An irresistible offer can contribute at least 25% to the success of your sales copy, and it’s the one thing you may be presently ignoring.

For example, create killer offers by piling up the bonuses. Increase the total perceive value of your package by adding audio recordings, video trainings or transcripts. Another technique to try is to position bonuses such that they appear more valuable than the actual product. This is because many times customers will end up buying for the bonuses alone.

Mistake #9: Not Asking For The Order!

This is so serious it’s not even funny anymore. I’ve seen sites with confusing order instructions after getting everything else right…this is outright criminal and certain profits down the drain.

You don’t want to anger or frustrate your customers into leaving your site just when the money’s on the table.

State the price clearly and INSTRUCT customers to ‘click here to order now’. Have plenty of order instructions throughout your copy, and make them obvious for goodness sake. You need to tell your customers what to do next, you need to state definite and clear calls to the action you want.

Mistake #10: Forgetting To P.S.

Have at least two P.S. (post scripts) as they’re often the next most read part of your sales copy after the headline. You wouldn’t want to lose any chance of capturing potential sales here.

As a guide, you can use P.S. (1) as a repetition and reinforcement of your headline, and P.S. (2) as a total summary of the package and time-sensitive extra bonuses if any. Just remember to use them.

That’s it, what you do now is scan through your web copy and check if you’re making any of these 10 profit-losing mistakes right now.

Make changes where you can and I guarantee your response rates will shoot through the roof.

"5 Killer Linking Tactics To Turbo-Charge Your Website With Free Traffic!"

Want to create a flood of free traffic to your website FAST?

Good News. You can learn the exact tactics I used to catapult my websites' Alexa rankings quickly and easily!

Follow these tactics and you will be blasting your website url everywhere, especially on other high traffic sites that matter. Commonly known as 'linking', this method can be apowerful traffic tool if utilised correctly.

Turbocharge your website traffic easily using SMART linking strategies you will discover below. Check out these 5 killer linking tactics you can use immediately for maximum impact :

1. Make Use Of The Search Engines

A neat reciprocal linking technique I use to increase my own website's search engine ranking. With this, you can effectively 'piggy back' on your competitors' ranking and traffic.

Just go to the major search engines like http://www.google.com/ and type in your own website's main keywords. With the results, contact the top 50 or so ranked websites asking for reciprocal links.

Most of them will be willing to exchange links with you as it also improve their own ranking and traffic. The beauty of this technique - you get to 'plant' your own website url on your competitors' websites. And remember, these are established, highly-ranked competitors.

Having your link on the websites of your competitors can massively improve your link popularity and bring targeted traffic to you.

The above tactic works. But note that other aspects of search engine optimization must be taken into consideration. This includes having good meta tags and content for instance.

2. Make Use Of Articles

This amazing viral tactic produces powerful results.

Write regular articles or tips and submit them to article listing directories. Get them published in other ezines. Get them posted on other websites. Get them everywhere.

Your articles always contain your website url in their 'resource box'. So with them listed on high traffic directories, they can help you ranked better in the search engines too.

Similarly, thousands of ezine publishers hungry for content will select your articles for publication in their ezines, or posting on their own sites. Your articles can spread virally this way, through your single action of posting to the directories. For example, have a look at my recent article, posted on just such a listing directory -

3. Make Use Of The Forums

Search the engines for forums related to your business target markets. Join these forums and participate actively.

Most discussion forums allow you to include your signature file with your posting. In your signature file, you should add your url with the prefix 'http://'. Everytime you post, you get your url published in the forums.

Besides attracting fellow participants to your website, your posts can get archived AND indexed by the search engines.

This site has a list of the major forums dedicated to different categories from internet marketing to general business. Check out this valuable resource here:

4. Make Use Of Testimonials

Another great technique to get your url on other websites comes from giving honest feedback and testimonials.

Whenever you have a positive experience with a product or service, voice your thoughts! Write an email to the product owners and tell them how much you enjoy using their products. Tell them to publish your feedback as a testimonial on their websites.

Most will value testimonials as it adds credibility and enhance their product or service. More often than not, they would not hesitate to post your testimonial on their sites. All you've to do is request that a link back to your website be included.

5. Make Use Of The Right Tools

With many softwares and tools available to enhance your linking strategy, it's to your advantage to use them.

'Zeus - Internet Marketing Robot' comes recommended as the software to use. Once set up, 'Zeus' searches the internet for specific reciprocal linking partners relevant to your website.

How about link exchanges? Join them if you want to find huge pools of ready webmasters for link exchanges. Two great link exchanges to join :http://www.linkleads.com/ and http://www.LinkPartners.com. Or check the search engines for many other link exchanges.

Are you having sleepless nights thinking of the right domain name for your online business?

Everyone and everyone's grandmother knows by now why having your own domain is so important. To sum it up, here're the main advantages :

- It shows You are serious about your business

- It creates instant credibility for your business

- It creates a branding for your business

- It builds your online identity and is easily remembered

- It can be an excellent marketing tool when used correctly

- It can be an investment and intellectual property owned by YOU

Needless to say, having your own domain is an absolute NECCESSITY if you're serious about doing business online. But aren't all the good domain names gone you say?

It's true that most short or one-word or generic names are taken up, BUT you can still win at the domain name game by following these simple steps.

Here are the 5 super easy secrets to a winning domain name anytime!

1. BRANDING

Every business needs to be branded, and that does not exclude your online business. Now what's branding in simple terms?

It's an identity that you want your customers to remember you by, and the best way to do that online is by your domain name. For instance, your business branding may be "Best Quality Service", so why not use BestQualityService.com as your domain name if it's still available for registration?

This is a great way of creating a CONSISTENT branding and identity.

2. PHRASING

How about using familiar or unique phrases as your domain name? This can help differentiate your site and heighten recall factor.

You can think up many catch-phrases for domain branding, how about "CowJumpsOverTheMoon", "MakeLoveNotWar", "SaleOfTheCentury", etc?

But it's important that the phrases you use is aligned to your business, you wouldn't want to use a domain like CheapAndGood.com when you're selling high end premium products, it just doesn't gel.

3. KEYWORDING

An important and smart approach to selecting domain names used by many marketers is to create the domain based on rich keywords relating to their businesses. The reason behind this lies in the fact that it helps enhance search engine rankings, especially pay-per-click listings which is essentially a bidding on top keywords.

As an example, if your site deals with golf improvement, you may want to identify your main keywords and come up with a domain like "improve-golf-lower-scores.com"?

My personal example is my site at http://www.instantmarketingsecrets.com/ which utilises the keywords 'Marketing' and 'Marketing Secrets'.

4. EXPIRED AND EXPIRING

A wonderful method of grabbing quality domain names is by registering domains that had expired or will be expiring. Thousands upon thousands of domains are expiring every other day and getting a good one is possible.

Try this site http://www.deleteddomains.com/ to source for such domains, I grabbed http://www.tanningguideonline.com/ from their list the last time I did a search.

5. BUYING

This option is a little more costly and risky but you'll have a better chance at finding a domain that you really want. There're three main ways to go about this :

- Email the webmaster of the existing domain about your interest and intention.

- Bidding and buying at domain auction, sale sites like http://www.Afternic.com.

- Typing in the name you need and you may land on a 'for sale' page.

Can you STILL Win the domain name game?

"Is Your Dog Selling eBooks Too?"

Just the other day, I stumbled across a website selling ebooks about pet food - it was set up by Spike, a Bull Dog...

Just kidding...but it does seem that everyone is jumping, or had jumped on the 'ebook bandwagon' these days.

No doubt, the online ebook business IS highly profitable, if done right. Selling quality info-products is somewhat the perfect hands-free business, as everything from order to delivery to follow up can be automated on the internet. Imagine making money on autopilot while you're on holiday.

But how do you survive and ensure you make a decent profit from your ebook business? Saying that the competition is HUGE is an understatement, even Spike's doing it!

Here is the "DEP formula" you can implement immediately to make more profits, and win the ebook war:

1. (D)ifferentiate

If you're selling your own ebooks which you authored, you have the best differentiation as there're no direct competition. But if you're reselling others' ebooks, you NEED to create a Differentiation Strategy.

You've got to have your own niche among the crowdedmarketplace. Some ways to do so include :

Unique website

Create your own website to resell and presell instead of using the common template, this is like a breath of fresh air for your potential customers. This technique can also be used in other areas beside ebook marketing. For example, create a special mini-site to promote your favourite affiliate programs while providing good content.

This differentiates you from the common pack. I do this successfully at http://www.InstantMarketingSecrets.com/nichelist.htm

Bonuses

Give extra incentives above the normal package to entice prospects away from competitors. Incentives can be in many forms, for example, extra gifts, customer support, free memberships, extended guarantee period, etc. Please however ensure that the incentives you give will not flout any copyright guidelines.

I've used this concept many times to outsell and out-compete other major affiliates. Here's a f'ree report showing how it can be very effective: http://www.StuffYourInboxWithCash.com/numberone.pdf

2. (E)ducate

People hate to be sold to, this is a universal fact. The assumption is that people are afraid of committing or making the wrong decision.

But when you educate them instead, they will be influenced into making the decision You want -BY THEMSELVES. They then KNOW WHY they need the product in question.

Truth is, this method of "preselling" is very successful, and has the added benefit of building trust and credibility. As mentioned, providing good content, ecourses and advice are good examples of this principle. The approach is to weave in your offers 'discreetly', much like charming your prospects while SOFTSELLING your products to them.

3. (P)opulate

Populate Your website or product virally. Who says youcan't create your own affiliate program out of other people's products? There are many affiliate programs on the web that are set up by resellers. They took the initiative of recruiting affiliates to help them sell other people's products, think about that. It's sort of your personal '2-tier' program.

How do you do this? 3 steps is all it take:

Set up your own website of reseller products

Sign up with http://www.clickbank.com/, they provide an automated built-in affiliate program solution.

Recruit affiliates

When they sell, ClickBank will pay them the amount of commission as decided by you.

Apply the above "DEP Formula" to your ebook business and I guarantee your profits will improve! In fact, as I pointed out earlier, this formula will work for just about any products, not only ebooks.

"5 Quickest Ways To Massive Windfalls Of Cash Online"

These days everyone wants to know how to make money online.

Yet, for some, this lifestyle seems out of reach. Does this describe you at all?

If you’ve been banging your head against the wall trying to figure out the quickest and easiest methods to generate cash for yourself online, then these five tactics should have you opening your eyes wide and wondering: "Why didn’t I think of this before?"

Cash Tactic #1: Affiliate Products

Affiliate products offer the small, home-based business owner the opportunity to make truckloads of cash, while investing a minimum in over head. Low overhead is the primary benefit of affiliate marketing.

You don’t need your own merchant account. You don’t need to pay a web designer and programmer to create a huge e-store for you. You don’t handle customer complaints, refunds or returns...All you do is refer the prospect to the merchant’s site, and the merchant handles the rest.

I believe the best affiliate products are information products. Your commissions on information products tend to be higher simply because the author can price an information product higher than what the average shopper spends on a tangible product sold online on a typical day.

This is because the value of information is ambiguous at best, and subjective to how the prospect sees value. People are willing to spend much, much more in order to acquire a solution to their problems.

Cash Tactic #2: Resale Rights

Resale rights are the lazy marketer’s salvation. You don’t have to create your own product. You don’t have to write a single word. You may not even have to lift a finger on sales page creation when the resale product comes with a ready-to-upload sales page.

All you do is pay the licensing fee to acquire rights to the product, perform a small amount of editing to change the payment link over to yours, and upload the sales page and product file to your web server.

The trend is taking a turn for the better in 2005 while the marketing world goes through its latest "next big thing": niche marketing.

Today, you can find products with resale rights for such things as cooking, golf, arts and crafts, self-improvement and more. Seizing on the profits promised by demand for niche products, there are dozens of new authors out there who have devoted themselves to turning out these niche products, and offering them with resale rights.

Cash Tactic #3: Special Reports

A special report is a ‘mini e-book’ of no more than about 5 to 12 pages in length. While you can certainly create a mini-ebook that sells (provided the information it contains is perceived to be valuable enough), the best use of a short report is as a lead generating tool for your affiliate campaigns.

The mini-ebook is the ideal viral tool. You create (or acquire) a mini-ebook which is branded with your affiliate links and/or your main URL. The focus of the report should be niche specific and completely focused on the pre-selling of the affiliate product.

Cash Tactic #4: Interviews

It’s a piece of cake to churn out products created from interviews.

In fact, it may be one of the laziest content generation methods available. Interview packaging is easy, too. You can present the interview as a written transcript, an audio transcript, or both. You can offer a downloadable mp3 file or you can burn the entire interview to CD, put an attractive label on it, and instantly raise your price by at least 30%.

Cash Tactic #5 Teleseminars

Do you want to know something interesting about teleseminars?

While they’re becoming a popular marketing method, the field is really wide open for you to cash in on them because very few marketers understand how to pull them off.

A teleseminar requires advance planning and a willingness to overcome a bit of stage fright. The average marketer in competition with you avoids teleseminars for these reasons. They’re intimidated by the idea of showing up on time and speaking, even via telephone, to an audience of a couple hundred people.

You can cash in on this technique in a big way. Teleseminars, right now, are popular mainly among the internet marketing crowd and tend to focus on marketing-related subjects; but, just imagine what you could do if you held teleseminars for non-internet marketing niche audiences? The field is wide open and vastly under-exploited.

There you have it - five quick and easy methods to generate windfalls of cash online! It’s really amazingly simple, isn’t it? Every tactic is really just a vehicle of delivery for an idea.

Your profits begin in an idea which spawns market research. This spawns an analysis of the best approach for delivering your idea to buying public. While there are many more secrets and techniques to generate massive cash windfalls from the internet, as a start, you should put any one of these methods to good use.

"7 Ways To Convert Your Traffic Into Cash"

If you have a website, you can profit from even the tiniest number of visitors it receives simply by not wasting that traffic.

The KEY is in leveraging on each visitor and making sure you have a monetization strategy in place. Once you get this, you can make any website profitable with a little effort.

Here are 7 basic ways in which you can profit from your traffic today:

1. Sell a product/service

First you can sell a product or service to your visitors. This is the best way to cash in from your own product. Usually an e-book or software works the best – they can be downloaded right away without hassle and shipping charges.

2. Opt-In list

It is crucial you try to convert every visitor of yours to a subscriber of your mailing list. The most important asset that an Internet marketer has is his or her list of subscribers. They define whether you will go far in the online business venture.

With an opt-in list, there are tons of ways you can profit further into the future. You can build repeat customers and turn your list members into partners for your products. For an example of a good opt-in page, visit http://www.InstantMarketingSecrets.com

3. Viral marketing

You can provide a free product or bonus on your site to be downloaded by your visitors. Usually it’ll be an e-book where people can read from and learn useful information. In this bonus, you include give away rights and urge readers to give it away to anyone they want to. This way, you increase your own traffic, publicity and branding without needing to spend a cent.

4. 'Pay-per-click'

In this case, you get paid when your visitors click on ads you place on your site. There are many advertising programs that give you a percentage of the profits based on click through, including Google Adsense, Chitika, Yahoo Publisher Network and Kontera.

When people click on the ads shown from either of these advertising programs, you will earn money. And if your site receives good traffic, these programs alone can bring in huge paychecks to you.

5. Offer an advertising space

Targeted niche websites with high traffic can 'rent' a portion of space on their web page to advertisers. For example you can charge $300 per month in advertising fee if your web page is pulling more than 2000 visitors a day. I use this strategy at my Online Marketing Secrets blog at http://www.EwenChia.com

Other than that, you can also generate advertising revenue using exit pop-ups. By doing this, you won't clutter your website with too many ads and spoil the visitor's experience.

6. Affiliate marketing

If you don’t have your own products for sale yet, you can sell other people’s products instead and receive a commission on every sale. With affiliate marketing, you have an unlimited source of products to sell and you don’t need to go through any fulfillment issues after your sales.

One of the best affiliate marketing training resources can be found at http://www.SecretAffiliateWeapon.com where I provide continual education on affiliate marketing to members.

7. Pay-per-lead

Instead of earning money from click through, you are paid if your visitors subscribe into other people’s mailing list. Alternatively there are a lot of big companies like Coca-Cola who need surveys to be done, and by referring your visitors to complete surveys, you can also earn good profits from your website.
